Vulkan Max

Vulkan Max is a strong foaming biocide for professional use, belonging to the closed circuit. It is a non-oxidative disinfectant, based on: glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds.

Vulkan Max is used for disinfection of livestock equipment, stables, surfaces and for transport vehicles. Strong disinfecting action: bactericide, levuricide and virucide action.

Biocidal authorisation:

• PT2: Disinfectants and algicides not intended for direct application to humans or animals. Exclusively registered for general disinfection of hard and non-porous surfaces (industries, communities, greenhouses and shelters, veterinary clinics, ...)
• PT3: Veterinary hygiene. Exclusively registered for the disinfection of buildings, livestock equipment, animal transport vehicles.
• PT4: Surfaces in contact with food and feed. Exclusively registered for disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces in contact with food: storage rooms, equipment and food transport vehicles.

Application dosage:  

• PT2 (spraying) and PT4 (spraying or immersion) surface disinfection: bactericidal and levuricidal activity (according to EN 13697): dilute 0,4% in drinking water at room temperature, 15 minutes contact time on hard, non-porous surfaces not previously cleaned.
• PT3 (stable disinfection) application (by spraying or dipping) surface disinfection: bactericidal activity (according to EN 14349), levuricidal activity (according to EN 16438) and virucidal activity (according to EN14675): dilute 0,6% in drinking water at + 10-18°C, 60 minutes contact time on hard, non-porous surfaces that have been cleaned, rinsed and dried before.

Operating instructions:

• Before disinfection, the surfaces and equipment must be properly cleaned. 
• Rinse with water. Remove excess water. 
• Apply by foam gun or IF Applicator. Vulkan Max is a strong foaming disinfectant.
• Use sufficient water to keep the surfaces moist during the soaking time. Decontaminated surfaces in contact with foodstuffs must be rinsed.
