Vulkan Air

Vulkan Air is a biocide for professional use, belonging to the closed cicruit. It is a non-oxidative disinfectant exclusively for professional use based on glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds.

Vulkan Air is used for disinfection of livestock equipment, stables, surfaces and for transport vehicles. Strong disinfectant action: fungicide (PT3), bactericide, levuricide and virucide action.

Biocidal authorisation:

• PT2: Disinfectants and algicides not intended for direct human or animal consumption.  
• PT3: Veterinary hygiene.  
• PT4: Food and feed contact surfaces. Registered only for disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces as well as livestock equipment by spray, immersion and air.

Application dosage:  

• PT2: bactericidal and levuricidal effect according to EN13697: 0.5% (dilution in drinking water 18-25°C) by spraying. Contact time: 15 minutes at 18-25°C, on previously cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces.
• PT3: bactericide, levuricide and virucide activity according to EN14349, EN16438 and EN14675: 0.8% (dilution in drinking water 10-25°C) by spraying or soaking. Contact time: 30 minutes at 10-25°C, on hard, non-porous surfaces previously cleaned.
• PT3: bactericide, fungicide, levuricide and virucide activity according to EN17272: 1 ml product/m³ (diluted to 3% in drinking water 18-25°C) atomised through the air. Contact time: 60 minutes after diffusion at 18-25°C, on previously cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces. 
• PT4: bactericide and levuricide activity according to EN13697: 0,5% (dilution in drinking water 18-25°C) by spraying or soaking. Contact time: 15 minutes at 18-25°C, on previously cleaned hard, non-porous surfaces. After treatment rinsing of treated surfaces with potable water is mandatory.
