Sodiumbicarbonate Feed, 25 kg

Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), has a large number of applications in animal nutrition. In animal feed, the purifying product is best known for its neutralizing effect on acids, in particular on rumen acidosis in cows. Bicarbonate is in the saliva of the cow. In highly productive dairy cattle that receive a lot of concentrates, the cow's own bicarbonate production via saliva often falls short. This also happens regularly with heat stress. Adding sodium bicarbonate to the ration promotes balance in the rumen and helps to prevent rumen acidosis. Sodium bicarbonate buffers the acidity in the rumen.

Regulations: The product complies with:

• EC Regulation No. 1831/2003 on additives for use in animal nutrition.
• EC Directive 2002/32/EC on undesirable substances in animal feed.

Packaging: 25 kg bag.

Storage: Should be stored in a clean place in closed packaging at a humidity of 30-70% and at a temperature not exceeding 35°C. The product has a shelf life of 24 months after production, subject to the above storage conditions.
