Sodium sulphite is a reductor. It is capable of rapidly neutralising chlorine dioxide.

• Specific gravity: 1.33-1.37 lg/litre
• pH: 3.5-4.5

Chemical composition:

• SO2: 23.4-25.5%
• Iron (Fe): max 10 ppm
• Arsenic (As): max 3 ppm
• Lead (Pb): max 2 ppm
• Mercury (Hg): max 1 ppm

Storage: to prevent crystallisation of the product, it is advisable to store the product at a temperature above 5°C
