This filter consists of several discs with adjustable filtering between 5μ and 150μ. Self-cleaning based on differential pressure in front and behind the filter. The rinse is automatic and the waste water is evacuated.
Self-cleaning disc filter is an inline filter made up of discs that perform in-depth 3D filtration, including backwash valves, 3-way membrane and the innovative DLP TECHNOLOGY, which enable successive low-pressure backwashing using a mixture of filtered water and stored compressed air in a auxiliary tank, while the filtered water supply continues downstream.
The patented anti-clogging deflector ensures reliable filtration thanks to a centrifugal effect separation, with less backwashing frequency and less water and energy consumption.
Smart, compact and modular plug & play solution, made of engineering thermoplastics, extends the shelf life of the installation ensuring long-term use with minimum operational costs and less downtime for maintenance.
How does it work?
Filtration phase:
Water flows from the intake manifold to the inside of the filter and passes through the clogging deflector which throws the heavy particles away from the disc thus avoiding the rapid clogging of the filter and minimizing the backwash frequency.
Water flows OUT-IN through the disc stack to the exhaust manifold as particles grow larger than the filtration rate trapped in the disc.
Self-cleaning phase:
During the automatic backwashing, a water-air mixture is created, for a more energetic and effective cleaning with a water saving of 80%.
The water-air mixture flows IN-OUT, decompressing the disk stack. High velocity rinse water flowing through the nozzles creates a tangential cleaning effect that removes the trapped particles.
