Effitab is a biocide for water disinfection, in the form of an effervescent tablet containing 60% NaDCC (sodium troclosen) and is intended for all animal species: cows, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, rabbits, horses, small animals, etc.
The active ingredient "sodium troclosen" is also known as NaDCC:
Soluble in water and precursor of the most active undissociated chlorine element.
No hypochlorite - it has much better biocidal properties.
Show the best results efficiency by following the recommendations below:
Whatever the animal species, prepare a solution with 5 ppm active chlorine. 5 ppm active chlorine:
1 tablet for 1000 liters of drinking water.
Drinking trough: (Exposed to U.V., dust, organic materials) renew disinfection when the active chlorine concentration in the gutter is less than 1 ppm or if the water is cloudy.
Water tank: Check the active chlorine concentration at least once a week; renew the entire solution if the active chlorine level is less than 1 ppm.
Dosing pump: Prepare a concentrated solution depending on the pump setting.
Adjust the volume of the stock solution to the consumption on the farm.
Wait 15 min. for complete dissolution and homogenize before circulation in the water circuit.
The optimum value at the place of consumption should be between 1 and 3 ppm free chlorine.
The concentrated solution can be stored for 7 to 10 days in a closed packaging, away from light and frost.
Packaging: 60 tablets per cartridge. 6 cartridges per box, 84 boxes per pallet (7 layers of 12 boxes) or 504 cartridges/pallet.
